What is the verification code on Aeries? ›

When creating a new Aeries Parent Portal account, you will be asked for a VPC (Verification Pass Code). This code is only available from your student's school.

Linking to additional student: Once you have created an account for one stu- dent in your family, you may link to your other children through Aeries Portal by clicking on the Change Student drop down menu selector at the top right hand side of the homepage and click the link to “Add New Student To Your Account”.

Aeries is the student information system the District uses for grades and attendance.

To Delete a student, click the mouse on the Allow Deletes check box at the top of the student list. After Allow Deletes is checked a Delete button will display next to the Drop button. Select the Delete button to the left of the Student's name. A confirmation message will display prior to the deletion.

Verification codes are alphanumeric or numeric codes that are texted, emailed, or forwarded to a second device to confirm an account holder's identity. They are a common second authentication factor.

C – Complete Independent Study.

This feature is available for all school types. For schools with a Master Schedule, teachers link Google Classroom classes to the sections in the Master Schedule. For elementary schools with no Master Schedule, teachers link Google Classroom classes to their Aeries Gradebooks.

90.0 to 93.9 is about right for an A-. 94 to 96.9 is an A, and 97.0to 100. is an A+, if you are so inclined to distinguish. Some teachers give extra credit, so they would not give an A+ for anything less than 100.1 percent and above.

Aeries supports storing the Add-On Weighted GPAs in the regular weighted fields for each GPA or in a completely different set of fields so that both the traditional Weighted GPA and the Add-On Weighted GPA will be able to be queried and printed. The table below describes the field codes for all of the GPAs in Aeries.

J – Checked-in < 30 minutes late (Excused per Cal Ed. Code) K – Checked-in > 30 minutes late (Excused per Cal Ed. Code) N – Minimum Schedule (not related to Attendance)

Exclude Student from Assignment

If a score is not to be included in a student's final grade, Enter NA (Not Applicable) or TX (Temporarily Excused) in the Score field for the assignment selected. This will make the Max Score zero for this assignment for the student selected.

Within your Aeries gradebook dashboard, click "Manage Gradebook," then "Rules." Click "Add Rule," choose how many low grades you would like to drop from each student's final grade, and from which category you would like the low grades to drop.

The Transfer Grade option can be found under the Manage Student area of the Gradebook and the Transfer Grade column. Transfer Grades are stored in the Gradebook Transfer Scores (GTS) table. The Transfer Grade column has a Details button next to each student.

The authentication code is used to perform the following services: issue a new SIM card, issue additional SIM cards, replace a lost SIM card, transfer the number from one service provider to another or request SIM card activation for real user.

Navigate to School Info > Portal Management > Portal Options. The Portal Options page is used to configure the Parent Data Confirmation (PDC) process that Parents of enrolled Students use to update important Student Data at the beginning of each School Year.

A: ABSENT (UNVERIFIED) - Parent/Guardian has not notified the Office of the reason for the absence. F: EARLY OUT 30+ - Student left more than 30 minutes early for an unexcused reason. N: NOTIFIED - A school employee has made an absence notification, but the reason for the absence remains unverified.
